Can I touch a fire belly newt?

Guys, I'm curious to try holding fire belly newts. Are these animals allowed to be held?

You can hold them, but you have to wear gloves. However, you should NOT touch it!!! Because this one animal is poisonous, and the poison will be released through the skin.
